Hello,

My fiance and I would like to get married in Tenerife South at the beginning of August 2011 and have a civil marriage and marriage in Roman Catholic Church. I would be grateful for any information (contacts) on churches or priests or Civil Offices in Tenerife South to contact them.

Death Certificate From 1931

by Scott
(Mindanao)

I'm researching the life and accomplishments of a great American industrialist William Lawrence Saunders who died in Tenerife on June 25, 1931. He was a resident of North Plainfield, New Jersey where he had twice served as Mayor, and New York City where he was the founder and CEO of Ingersoll-Rand Corporation.

Just as useful to my research would be any news accounts of the event of his death. He was on vacation. He was 74 years old. The information I have doesn't say what he died of. Accounts vary from "died suddenly" to "after an illness."

Any hope of finding a death certificate or a news article?

Thanks!

Legal Help

by Ann
(England)

My son was in prison in Tenerife for 2 years. I paid 24,000 euros to get him out, paperwork all in my name. I was told I would have to go and pick up the money. My son has been released 2 years and I have been told by lawyers that he has picked it up, as he lives there. How do I get it back? HELP, I can't afford any more expensive lawyers. Ann.

Business - Self Employed or SL?

by Kate
(UK)

Hi,

Firstly, any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting confused as to what to do. I would like to move to Tenerife. I have an online business that I'm looking to set up and I'm not sure what is the best way to do it. So confusing trying to understand the benefits of the ZEC but they seem to be outweighed by the requirements, 5 employees within 6 months and then forever. 100k euros investment within the first 2 years. How would any new company, even with a reduced rate of corporation tax, be able to survive the high costs of those requirements? Has anyone out there done it? Failed or succeeded?

Confused British gal! Thanks in advance.

Driving Laws

by Graham
(Granadilla )

I have a Spanish driving licence, the categories that are ticked on the back of the license are A1, AM, B. Does anyone know how to add a category? I want to be allowed to tow a small trailer, which is category BM.

Thanks for any help.
