Before we progress to registry offices and churches, have you got all your documentation sorted?
As foreigners marrying in Tenerife, you'll need:
The application form.
Your birth certificates.
Proof that both of you are free to marry (including divorce certificates for any previous marriages).
Certificate of residence (if not permanent resident, you must sign an affidavit in front of a Consular Officer, saying where you have lived for the last six years).
Posting of the banns.
Certificate of Consular Inscription.
You may find it useful to speak to someone at the Slovenian Consulate in Santa Cruz and their number is (+34) 922 275928.
There's a website I've found that may be useful for you: My Perfect Wedding.
The Spanish Yellow Pages has a list of Registry Offices in Tenerife and you can view the list here.
Similarly, the Spanish directory has listings of Roman Catholic Churches on the island here.
Good luck for August!

Getting Married in Teneriffe by: Anonymous
Dear John,
Thank you for all information and good wishes. Unfortunately the link of the Spanish Yellow Pages with list of Registry Offices in Tenerife does not work, but it is not important.
The marriage laws are constantly changing for non residents in Tenerife. We are working closely with the authorites on all of this issues. Any advice please contact www.canariesconcierge.com and we will advise you directly.

Wedding Vows by: Anonymous
We were going to get married in Tenerife but it seems paper work is a bit of hassle (shame as missus just moved back - she lived there for 2 years). How hard is it to arrange a renewal of vows if we got married in the UK? We are looking to get married (vows) on the beach. Who is best? Any information greatfully received. Dom
