Quad biking in Tenerife is found in two separate locations. You have the Quad Park, which, although a huge area, is still an enclosed space. Or, there is the Quad Safari, which takes you up into the mountains.
QUAD PARK TENERIFE
Found just outside La Camella, on the Arona road, a 10 minute drive out of Los Cristianos, this is a very popular attraction, being a "park" consisting of 50 acres of off-road terrain. There are twelve different areas of varying difficulty.
The vehicles are fully automatic and, as it is an enclosed area, no driving licence is required. As safety is paramount, you will be provided with a helmet and safety goggles.
You drive around beautiful natural surroundings, accompanied by fully trained instructors/guides.
The lowest age limit for drivers is 14 years and passengers can be six years and over. Quad Park Tenerife is an excellent attraction for groups and families.

QUAD SAFARIS
For an experience of quad biking in Tenerife that takes you out of an enclosed area (however big it is), head for the Commercial Centre of Malibu Park in Las Americas.
There, you'll find the headquarters of Quad Safaris, a company that takes you on quad bike tours up the mountains at the back of the resort.
Polaris 250cc machines are used and you are supplied with helmet and goggles. As there is some driving on public roads, you will need to have a driving licence.
Quad Safaris offer three different length trips, ranging from 45 minutes to a full three hours.
