Market Tavern Los Cristianos - a great little bar

The Market Tavern is situated in the strip of bars and restaurants underneath the Paloma Beach complex at the far end of Los Cristianos, directly opposite the Costamar tower.

Although of modest size, it's big on entertainment.

There is nightly karaoke, compered by Carly Monroe, but the bar also features live acts.

As far as I know (because things change quickly in Tenerife), there is a weekly appearence by blue comedian Billy Porter. Everyone who has gone to one of his nights say what a great time they had. He is there on Wednesdays.

Another evening features the Cher and Meatloaf show and, on Sunday afternoons, there is a singalong session with Carly the compere's dad, Pete Monroe.

The bar does much to promote a party atmosphere, with theme nights.

It is open through the day, too, offering a selection of British meals and snacks, plus a comprehensive array of drinks, all reasonably priced.

For those of you based in that area of Los Cristianos, it's a convenient and ideal place to go for a good time.
