irish times tenerife
The Irish Times is a long established bar that, in 2009, underwent a full refurbishment, including a change of ownership and entertainment.
Attracting back customers time and time again, the bar is run by Johnny and Pinja, who will always give you a warm, Irish welcome.
The bar is open from 8am till 2am - long hours! - and, during the day, food is available. On the big screen, you'll be able to watch major sporting events, including the GAA games (Gaelic football).
At night, the bar really comes alive. Entertainment is provided by a resident duo, consisting of Derek Murtagh and Johnny Grennan, who regale the audience with full-blown Irish music, accompanied by some comedy banter. They play every night except Fridays, when the excellent band Crush fill in for them.
Drinks prices are very cheap and, every night, there is a champagne raffle.
All in all, a bar worth checking out.
