Tenerife is famous for its prevelance of Irish bars and here we have yet another, offering the traditional, friendly Irish welcome.
It is open seven days a week and, during the day, functions as a spot to grab a bite to eat or a drink.
Food options include a choice of English, Irish or Scottish traditional breakfasts, using ingredients all brought in from the UK. Where you'll find many other bars only serving breakfasts up to, say, 1pm, the Irish Rover keeps them going till 6pm! So, if you've had a really long lie-in, you'll still be able to get your brekkie!
There's also a comprehensive selection of alcoholic drinks available. There's obviously Guiness, plus Caffreys, Boddingtons bitter and Strongbow cider, amongst others.
Customers are also given a free "knockback" with their first drink.
Come the evening, the venue becomes an entertainment bar, with things kicking off around 9pm. There is a resident compere, Stacy Rock, from Dublin, who keeps things going through the night.
You'll be able to indulge in a game of bingo, or have a go on the karaoke. Every night, there is guest cabaret, all top performers, with the accent on tribute acts.
The live entertainment has to finish, by law, at midnight, but the bar remains in full swing right up till 3am. To help this part of the evening along, the bar introduces "happy hour" prices, right through from midnight till closing time.
The Irish Rover is situated on the main Avenida de EspaƱa running through San Eugenio. It's not far from the Laguna Park complex, on the other side of the street.
