Raffles Bar Tenerife - quality and style

Gary's business expertise had led him to aim for the highest standards in all his enterprises and Raffles is no exception.

With ambient decor, including comfortable, plush seating out on the terrace (quite a rare thing), the accent is on availing the customer of a calm, stylish oasis in which to enjoy a drink. Prices, for both food and drink, are very reasonable and, with the bar being affiliated with the Star of Asia, Indian influence is featured on the menu, with, for example an Indian platter for two.

Many customers have testified to the quality of the service in this bar - staff are efficient, friendly and welcoming.

The bar also promotes VIP cards, possession of which entitles the holder to 10% discount both in Raffles and the Star of Asia.

Regarding entertainment, Gary has tried a number of ideas out since he opened this bar. There have been ladies' nights, singles' nights and gay nights. I'm not sure which ones of these were successful and whether any of them are still happening now, but you could check it out.

The last report I can find about live entertainment dates back to 2009, when there was a guitar/vocalist featured every night except Fridays, when there would be a soul night.

Whatever the situation now, I think you can be sure that there'll be something happening of an evening.

All in all, a bar receiving unreserved praise from customers.

You can find it by getting yourself to the big roundabout at the top of town. You'll see the large Apolo Centre - it's clearly signposted. Walk up the left side of the Centre and you'll eventually come to the bar along there.
