President Chicken King Tenerife - a fine restaurant with live music some nights

Operating primarily as a restaurant, the venue is open all day, every day, initially offering first-class breakfasts from around 9am.

Food is generally recommended by customers as being very good quality and priced very cheaply, compared to the size of the portions.

A good example of pricing is the offer of a half chicken and chips accompanied by a glass of beer for just 4.50 euros!

Run by Jaime and Cristina, who employ friendly, efficient staff, the aim is to cater for all tastes.

Noteworthy items on the menu include T-bone steak, Chateaubriand steak, leg of lamb and paella.

Regarding entertainment, the restaurant employs the services of guitar/vocalist Jack Cantrell, three nights a week. He will be there, adding an extra dimension to your dining experience, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. You'll be able to enjoy easy-listening music from the 50s to the present, with lots of country and western thrown in.

To find this restaurant, begin by standing in the church square in the centre of town. Have the church to your right and be stood the opposite side of the square, by the shops and bars.

Walk straight on, which will take you along a pedestrianised area which leads, eventually, down to the beach. Turn left here and you'll soon see the familiar sight of MacDonald's. The restaurant is next door.
