Moonlight Bar Tenerife - the best in karaoke

To give this venue its proper name - Moonlight Fun Pub - signifies what this bar is all about: fun.

I have found very little information on this venue, but, when it is mentioned on the Internet, the general consensus seems to be that it is an excellent karaoke bar - some say the best on the island.

Here, then, is the meagre amount of information I've managed to gather.

Even though the accent is on evening entertainment, I understand that the Moonlight Bar is open during the day. Whether there is any food on offer is uncertain, but you can certainly avail yourself of a drink there.

It overlooks Colon Beach, so not a bad place to sit and relax.

By night, the place really comes alive, with family-friendly activities run by resident compere Lee. This consists mainly of karaoke and, as I said earlier, it is hugely enjoyed by all those who take part and must simply be attributed to Lee's expert compering.

It's not all down to you holidaymakers, however! At some point during the evening, there is the guest cabaret, all top Tenerife acts. These may range from singers, to comedians, to tributes.

Thereafter, karaoke resumes, continuing until 2am.

Many reviews on various forums rave about the place and it is advised that you get to the venue before 8pm as, after that, it can get very, very busy.

I'm not sure of the actual location of this venue. The map on its website is a little vague.

All I can tell you is that it's in the vicinity of the area where the Torviscas market used to be, which is Calle Valencia, just off Avenida Ernesto Sarti.
