I am aware that a great many Germans are excellent English speakers, so I'm hoping that anybody of that nationality will be able to understand this page!
As I said, there is a large German presence on the island of Tenerife and, in the case of illness, they may prefer to be treated by a compatriot.
So far, I've unearthed one German health centre, situated in the southern resort of Playa de Las Americas.
Deutschen Ärzte Zentrum
This is a large, modern medical centre with a team of seven doctors, dealing in various medical disciplines.
They practise in:
General medicine
Cardiology
Surgery
Urology
Pediatrics
Orthopedics
Acupuncture
Chiropody
Dermatology
Gynecology
Obstetrics
There is also a specialist in psychotherapy and nutrition.
Consultation Hours
Monday Wednesday Friday
2pm-8pm
Tuesday Thursday

Directions
Deutschen Ärzte Zentrum is situated on a one-way street, so, once in Las Americas, if you're in a car, you need to get yourself onto the road running parallel to the beach. Eventually you should see the huge timeshare complex Palm Beach Club and should turn up the side of that. You'll eventually see the health centre on your right.
If using public transport, the TITSA bus number 442 will drop you off at a stop called Terrazas. You'll be next to a line of bars and restaurants, set back from the road. At the end of these, to the right, is a road off. This is a one-way street called Avenida del Quinto Centenario. Walk down there and you'll come to the health centre, on the left.
If in a taxi, ask for "el centro de salud aleman".
