When I embarked on my quest to find English doctors in Tenerife, I thought there would be a whole host of them.
How mistaken was I?
Despite extensive research, I've only been able to come up with a small sample. As usual, if anyone knows of any that I've not been able to track down, please let me know, via "feedback".
Dr Karen Whittaker
Karen is the current English doctor with a surgery in Los Cristianos. Her predecessor was Dr Johnson and he was based in Cristian Sur. Karen took over and started there, but subsequently moved premises to larger ones found amongst the line of shops attached to the Arona Gran Hotel.
This is situated right next door to the pharmacy, so, that's handy for prescriptions.
I haven't had any dealings with Karen, but I had to visit Dr Johnson on a few occasions.
You'll have to register with her and pay for any visits and treatment as you receive them.
You can just show up and ask to see the doctor, but, as you'd expect, you'll have to wait. Just like anywhere else, it's better to phone for an appointment.

Dr David Robson
On trawling the internet extensively for English doctors in Tenerife, here's one name I unearthed. I don't even know if this man is English (or British), but, with a name like that, it's pretty likely.
All the information I have regarding his whereabouts is that he's based in Costa del Silencio. It's not that big a place to wander around to try and spot a doctor's surgery. The town actually has a health centre and he may be operating from there.
Best just to phone and ask for the address, I suppose.

Perfect Health SL
I've also come across this company, based in the Faņabe Plaza Commercial Centre in Adeje. Although their staff may not actually be English, they all speak it.
They have a nurse available Monday to Friday from 10am till 6pm and she can perform duties such as blood tests, dressings, injections and blood pressure.
A doctor is available, by appointment only. His surgery is open every Friday, from 3pm.
The man in question, Dr de la Flor, studied medicine in the USA and is likely to be fluent in English.
