Coconut Joe's - a bar/restaurant with entertainment nightly

There is a long strip of entertainment bars attached to the Parque La Paz Aparthotel and Coconut Joe's is the first one you come to from the road.

The venue has a reasonably sized interior and quite a large outside terrace. Food is served all day, right up to midnight.

At around 8pm, the live entertainment begins.

There is a resident musician, playing a variety of different material, who also doubles as a compere for the cabaret.

The bar features a different cabaret act every night of the week and thay normally appear on stage at around 10pm.

Music stops at midnight (as is the law for live music in Tenerife - and some bars actually stick to it). Thereafter the bar continues to serve drinks as long as there are customers.

This is a venue at which I was fortunate enough to be the resident musician and compere for several months up to my returning to the UK in 2003.

Staff are all very friendly and I noticed people returning night after night - and holiday after holiday! So, they must be doing something right.

The cabaret appearing here can change very frequently, as the management strive to bring you the very best that Tenerife has to offer. You need to go down there and check it out.
