Rumours Restaurant - quality British fare

Situated at the end of the line of bars underneath the Paloma Beach complex, Rumours Restaurant is a family run establishment, very popular with regular holidaymakers and resident ex-pat Brits.

The reason is simple: it serves excellent, classic British dishes!

Rumours Restaurant Los Cristianos Tenerife

I know I'm always banging on about trying the Canarian cuisine when you're in Tenerife, but, sometimes, you just can't beat a nice roast dinner!

That's what this restaurant serves, amongst many other things. On arrival, you are warmly greeted as if you're a long lost friend. In fact, because people return time and again, the waitresses have got to know a lot of them quite well.

In addition to roast dinners, there is a huge selection of other traditional British cooking, with lamb chops, steak pie, sausages and steak, together with a whole host of fish dishes. All food is cooked to order.

Check out the pudding menu, too. Even though I'm usually pretty full after the first two courses, I find I can't resist the pancakes!

You'll find it is a very friendly - and, more often than not - full place. You are definitely advised to make a reservation.

Why not pop in to ask them to reserve a table for a bit later, then call in one of the bars further along the strip for a pre-dinner drink?

To find it, head for the landmark of the Costamar tower, further on past the Arona Gran Hotel at the far end of Los Cristianos. It's situated directly across the road from there.
