Hi Paula. Apparently, so-called "Chinese Shops" stock Christmas trees and other seasonal decorations. These shops are dotted about all over the place and are, basically, cheap emporia, stocking all sorts of stuff, some really naff, but some okay.
They're like the UK "pound shops", or the US 99cent store and are called Chinese Shops because they're run and owned exclusively by Chinese.
There should be one near you. I know there's one in Los Cristianos, in the Valdez Centre opposite the bus station. The sign outside says "Mas Articulos - Mejor Precio" (more articles - best price).
