• What's all this nonsense, these days, with certain breweries (who shall remain nameless) issuing pint glasses to hold their beer that have stems???
  
  It once was the tradition for glasses with stems to be for ladies; men took their beer in a straight glass or a pot with a handle.
  
  A pint glass with a stem is just wrong.
