I am going to Tenerife for a month next year and would love to know where I can buy gluten free bread (last year I ran out after three weeks). I am a Coeliac, so allergic to wheat, rye and barley. I can manage with everything else or find alternatives but could not track down any gluten free bread in Las Americas area. Would welcome any help!!!!

Please tell us where you are staying and you can be pointed to the nearest outlet. No point in me telling you where you can buy it if it's 50 miles away from where you are staying. Which hotel in which resort?

Rosemary, there are two large supermarkets at Las Chafiras, near Golf del Sur. Both sell gluten free products.

Hello we are going to stay at Parque Santaigo 3 in Las Americas Tenerife this coming July 2014, and my wife is ceoliac so we need to do a gluten free shop when we get there. Names and locations of gluten free supermarkets close to our hotel, thanks in advance.

You can buy rice cakes at Lidl in Tenerife. Also, you can buy burgers with gluten free bread at McDonalds, a real treat. :-) They should have a whole gf menu if you ask. Eating out isn't hard, lots of omelettes, salad and chips available. Or try the Aberdeen Angus Steakhouse in Golf Del Sur (also elsewhere but maybe not as nice), last year a 3 course meal including delicious fillet steak was to be had for E8.95. Enjoy!

Harriet's Tea Room in Costa Adeje serve a whole range of gluten free sandwiches, cakes and evening meals, and they know their stuff.

Staying at El Mirador Del Duque and they serve great gluten free baguettes, croissants and chocolate Danish pastry for breakfast and in pagoda at lunchtime sandwiches but you have to ask xx

Hi I am staying in the Sunwing Resort Fanabe in April 2018. I was going to take some food with me but if there is somewhere nearby that has a good gluten free range then that's way better.
