Is the only way to get a camping permit to go to the address you provided? There isn't an email address? because I will only be there for a week so it will be impossible to get one a week in advance.

Hello John,

I'm from Holland and I'm going to Tenerife at the end of December. Thanks for all the information on the website! Especially the information about campgrounds. I still have some questions: here I can find 13 campgrounds http://www.cabtfe.es/acampadas/site del cabildo/areas/medio ambiente/acampadas/aplicacion/web/acampadas.htm but in the list on your website there are 7 more (19). I can't figure out why there are more and what's the difference.

When I go to Tenerife it's winter time, I can see the temperature is around 20, but is it going to be real lower temperature when I'm going higher --> maybe to Las Lajas? Because if I'm going to stay in a tent at Las Lajas, it's good to know how cold it is, how much blankets we need.

If we want to come walking and camping in Tenerife in Nov/ Dec, how do we get a camping permit if you can't get them until you arrive and then have to wait 7 days. Have I misunderstood this or what?

Hi,

I will be on Tenerife on bikes with my friends.
So, the journey will be between 24 decemeber 2014 and 14 january 2015.

We cannot specify when exactly we will be, becasue bike journey have some unspecified plan. We are not able to plan exact ride time.

Is it possible to get permission for all places at the Tenerife in the time of our Tenerife trip?

How can I get it for this period of time?

Our family (1 adult man and 2 my sons) are going to visit Tenerife (or Gran Canaria) on March/April.
I have only 1 question:

Is it possible (legal) to stay in our own tent outside the camping areas?
If it is not, can you recommend me a camp site near a really good beach with white sand?
I tried to search these place on the Internet but when I find a good place to stay there are no camp sites near by this place.
