Hi Michael. It all depends on how much you intend to splash the cash while you are there. When Alison and I visit, it is also usually for ten days. The last time, I took £500 and Alison also contributed to some of the expenditure. Better to take more than you need and bring some back than take too little and run out.

Living in Tenerife by: Sarah
Hi, me and my boyfriend are looking to move to Tenerife in the next couple of years. Where is the most popular place people from the UK tend to move to in Tenerife? We go on holiday to Tenerife every year and we always go to Playa de Las Americas. My boyfriend is an electrician, will he find it easy to get a job out there? I have only ever worked in retail, insurance and other customer service job type roles. I would like to work in retail in Tenerife, but I do need to learn Spanish which I am planning on doing very soon. I want to avoid bar/waitress work.
