Vivo Tenerife - great daytime dining plus crazy party nights

A nicely done out venue with clean, modern decor, this spacious bar also features an extensive terrace area, with comfortable seating.

The bar is open seven days a week from 10am. During the day, fine dining is available, with table service. Bookings for groups or parties are encouraged and the venue is family-friendly.

By night, Vivo comes alive. It appears to be geared to the younger generation. More conservative, older people might find things a bit too "full-on" for their tastes.

Providing the live entertainment every night except Friday is the award-winning duo "Wild Boyz".

They take the stage at around 9:30 and, as far as I can gather, don't play any instruments. They sing, clown about and generally involve the audience in all manner of weird antics.

The two boys have been performing together for over 15 years - 10 of them on Tenerife.

Marc, from Leicester and Mea, from South Shields were both singing from an early age and, since working in Tenerife, have had the chance to perform with the likes of Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) and Jason Donovan.

On the Wild Boyz' night off, an entertainer named Ronnie Canada takes the stage.

Things go on till late at Vivo. Doors close at 3am, except Fridays and Saturdays, when the revelry continues until 5am!

Vivo is a great place for a drink or a meal during the day and an even better place for partying at night.

It's easy to find. Aim for Starco and you'll see Pleasure Island next to it, to the right. Vivo's frontage will be clearly visible from the road.
