Thistle and Dragon Tenerife - continuing the tradition

Family owned and run, the aim is to provide first class service, both in food and drink and entertainment.

According to numerous forum posts, the food served is excellent, featuring all the usual British-style dishes and snacks, plus a Sunday roast option.

Drinks are kept to a minimum price, too, with your pint always being served in a glass straight from the freezer.

By night, the entertainment kicks in, compered by Jon G, who, it is reported, is an excellent singer. The bar presents different top-class live cabaret every night.

The bar is found in the pedestrian walkway area just near the centre of Los Cristianos. You can find it as follows.

Either take the walkway down towards the sea starting directly opposite the Princesa Dacil Hotel. This brings you out at the children's play area (trampolines, etc). Turn right and the walkway is up there. The Thistle and Dragon is on your right.

Or, from the church square in the centre of town, walk down the one-way street with the Hotel Reveron Plaza on your right and you'll come to the pedestrian area at the bottom of that. The bar, from this direction, will be on your left.
