Tenerife Submarine Safaris - explore under the sea in a real submarine!Tenerife Submarine Safaris have only been operating on the island since the end of 2006 and are based at the new San Miguel Marina, next to Amarilla Golf/Golf del Sur. The submarine, accomodating 48 people, cost 3.5 million US dollars to design and build and offers a superb opportunity for passengers to enjoy amazing views of the clear Tenerife waters in complete safety and comfort.  It has 11 large viewing ports running along either side, plus two extra large ones at each end, so everyone can get a good, panoramic view during the dive. Each viewing port is also equipped with TV monitors offering alternative views of the sea bed, plus panels giving information about the submarine. The dives last approximately one hour, including boarding and disembarking time. There are four of them per day.
Prices: Adult: 48 euros Child (2-14 yrs): 28 euros There is a 15% discount for an online booking (but these must be made at least 48 hours before the day of your dive). Passengers must report in at the reception area at San Miguel Marina at least 30 minutes before boarding times. The company offers free buses from Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Los Gigantes and other resorts.
