St Eugens Bar Tenerife - a major entertainment venue

I researched this, seemingly, high profile bar, but could find no information on opening hours.

There's plenty of info regarding the evening entertainment, but we'll come to that later.

The sign above the bar describes it as a "live music bar restaurant", so it's safe to assume that it serves food. Whether it follows that the bar is open during the day to serve the food is another matter.

Anyway, let's get onto the main reason for this page - the entertainment.

St Eugen's has a very full entertainment programme, seven nights a week.

Compere

This venue is fortunate to have, as a compere, the award-winning Mike Carlton. He has been resident there for many years and has won Best Compere in the Tenerife Entertainment Awards - twice.

Mike holds the whole entertainment package together - and is extremely funny. But, a word of warning. He can be very crude and, therefore, you should not subject yourself to him if you're easily offended.

Resident Musician

Unusually for a cabaret bar, there is also a resident musician, appearing every night. Phil Francis is a guitarist of high calibre and he sets the live music off by performing from 8pm till 10pm.

The Cabaret

Yes, there's more! St Eugen's presents at least two top cabaret acts every night. The first is at 10pm, the second at 11pm.

During busy times of the year, this may be even increased to three acts!

Despite all this free entertainment, the bar manages to keep its drinks prices quite reasonable.

There is no outside terrace area, but the bar is airy and adorned with greenery to make for a warm welcome.

Despite compere Mike's risque delivery, the venue is frequented by families with young children.

The place to go, if you want to party!

Situated in a corner plot on the main road Avenida de España, it is easy to find if you're staying in the San Eugenio area. If you have to take a taxi, write "Bar St Eugen's" on a piece of paper and show the driver.
