Work as Musician / Singing instructor

Hi, and thanks for this beautiful Information Centre you built. I live in Italy where I work as a singer and a singing instructor/vocal coach both privately and for a musical theatre company. I'm planning to move there permanently with all my family and I'm looking for job opportunities as a musician. I've been there several times, especially to Los Cristianos/Costa Adeje. I met some other Italians who live there and they gave me their contacts to help me as they can. I'm thinking of moving there seriously and I'm building a step-by-step path to reach this goal. I've tried to contact some agencies but they gave me no answer, up to today. Can you help me in any way by giving me some other contacts, or places to go directly bringing with me my bio? I can fly there whenever I want without any problem, seeing as this is a job investment for me. Let me know, and thanks in advance.

The Cost of Living and Working in Tenerife

I am currently working on a costing schedule for a tender to do tourism research in Tenerife. I have been scouring the internet for information on prices, and have seriously been struggling. Could you please provide me with an idea of how much the following things should cost:

1. accommodation - what would a reasonable apartment/hotel cost on average?

2. food and beverage - what would you budget per day?

3. a tenerife sim card with wifi access

4. if one was using the phone reasonably to set up appointments etc, how much would you be spending on airtime a day roughly?

5. I have the rates for car rentals but I was wondering how much you would spend roughly per day on petrol if you were required to travel round the island each day.

Internet connection Playa de San Juan

Hi,

I am travelling to Tenerife in February for a whole month and need to be connected to Internet as I will be working there. Could you recommend me any provider? I expect it will cost something, of course, but if I used my mobile connection from my homeland provider it would be too much expensive... I need to work from home, so it should be a wifi provider preferably but I will welcome any other idea... I will need some 3 GB per month and will stay in Playa de San Juan.

My Family & I are due to move to Tenerife in July. My son has a place in Wingate School in Sept but there isn't a place for my 6yr daughter. What should I do?

Moving to Tenerife

I am UK citizen looking into investments and business to stay and live in Tenerife. I have Philippines spouse who I want to stay and live with me.
I have heard this is difficult to arrange. Can anyone advise on best process and the real level of difficulty regarding this issue? Or direct me to anyone who might be able to advise.

Registering With a Doctor

How do I obtain the correct paperwork to register with a doctor? My Husband & I are both now working with contracts so paying into the social, but I do not know how to get a Health Card or what paperwork is required to register with a doctor. We live in Costa Del Silencio so I think we should register at Las Gallettas, can anyone help?

Finding Work For a Singer

Now I'm not sure if I can ask due to submission guidelines! But I work with a soul singer in South East England, J G Fitzgerald aka Mr Soul Machine. My question is, how easy would it be for us to visit the island and get work and how much is he likely to be paid per gig? Having read most of your info I would really appreciate your views and input on this as you are obviously 'in the know'!
