Patch Bar Tenerife - the venue that gave its name to the area

Situated right at the top of Patch, on the left, it bills itself as a cafeteria, a pizzeria and a cocktail bar - and it does deliver on all three counts.

Currently run by an Italian couple, all its food and entertainment is based on that country.

The bar is open seven days, from 9am, firstly offering authentic Italian breakfasts, croissants and a full variety of Italian coffees.

Through the day, the restaurant theme continues, with a comprehensive menu, all Italian-based.

When evening falls, the bar adopts its "cocktail bar" persona, with a large selection of these exotic drinks, plus all the usual beverages.

You are entertained by an Italian singer named Genny, with, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, an Elvis tribute.

There is a terrace and the interior is air-conditioned. There is full disabled access and the management also have no problem with anyone taking a pet in with them.

The bar shuts at 3am. Wow, that's a long day!
