It varies from year to year and, this year, is on Thursday, June 23rd.

We were very lucky. The receptionist in the hotel suggested we went to Oratava to see the volcanic sand carpets and the flower carpets. They really should advertise it a bit more!

Yes, Chris, I agree with you. Although it's a really famous festival, there are still many people visiting the island who haven't heard of it.

That's why I have a page about it on my site and I also included information about it in my June newsletter. (One more reason why people should subscribe to it!)
