Music FM - the reincarnation of Gold FMMusic FM. After some time off the air, Gold FM, run by Steve Summers and Angela Blackburn, is back, this time under its new name. Steve and Angela are still in charge and the rejuvenated station provides music and entertainment seven days a week. There are about six presenters, including veteran DJ, Bob Preston. I knew Bob quite well when I lived in Tenerife and he is a stalwart of radio presenting, having been one of the guiding lights of the legendary Waves FM. At weekends, the station features special programmes, including Country and Western, "Saturday Night Fever" and "Old Gold Greats". On the air each day from 5am right through until late at night, this station provides loads of music from the 60s to the 80s, interspersed with some entertaining chat.
