Please help. We are holidaying in October this year, but since booking we have had 2 of our 3 children diagnosed with coeliac disease. This means they both need gluten free diets. I have been searching on the web to find suitable restaurants but struggling. We ate in the Safari Center last year and had some great meals, but I don't know if they cater for coeliacs by providing gluten free dishes. Please could you suggest somewhere to eat out. Many thanks for your help.

Thanks

Can anyone tell me if there is a department that supplies oxygen concentrators in Tenerife and what the cost would be for a patient who requires 24 hour oxygen. The person is over 60 and able to get about on a scooter and can even walk very slowly with someone to hold on to and has a portable concentrator for day time use.

I am one of the "Swallows" returning for the Winter months.
I need weekly INR blood tests and would like to know where this can be done please. I know that Karen Whittaker would probably do this but at over 30 euros a time, it is expensive.
I know that it is not covered by my travel insurance and I assume the "Salud" in Los Cristianos would not do it, since it is not an emergency.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I have what is called an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrulater) fitted and I would like to know where the nearest hospital to Playa de Las Americas is that is equipped to deal with these things should any problems arise. I can't find out from the UK health people.

Hello,
I am visiting Los Americas In December, and would like to find out some information.
I have recently started on a newer anti-coagulant, Pradaxa and was wondering if the 'reversal agent' is available in the local hospitals.
The actual name of my medication is Dabigatran Etixilate, and the antidote is Praxbind.
Thank you for your help.

Hi, my grandmother has lived in Tenerife for over 35 years but she is now unable to take care of herself due to dementia. Please could you tell me if there are residential homes that are free like we have in the UK but in north Tenerife possibly?
Many thanks,

Hi we are thinking of moving to the Canaries. The one main concern I have is the health side of things. I've had two operations on my eyesight in the past and I have depression. My question is how does the healthcare side of things work please? Is it private and the cost? Thanks ever such a lot as this is the main thing holding me back. Thanks in advance.
Kind regards.
Where can I get my INR tested? Staying in Adeje, Playa de Las Americas area. Thank you
