The Hole In The Wall Tenerife - one of the island's best Irish pubs

South Tenerife has many Irish pubs and this has got to be one of the best.

Found about halfway along the La Paz strip, it is run by husband and wife team, Greg and Sue, who have around 20 years experience in the licensing trade.

Established in Tenerife since 1994, it had to move to its present, larger premises in 1996, as it was becoming so popular. The smaller, original venue just wouldn't accommodate everybody who wanted to come in!

The venue is open from 10am, right through till late at night. Through the day, food is served, notable items on offer including prime Irish sirloin steak and Sunday lunches.

The bar also boasts a complete range of drinks, featuring what is claimed to be the best pint of Guinness on the island.

At 9pm, food service stops and the bar transforms into a cabaret venue.

The accent is on fun and partying - you know how the Irish like to party! Compering the proceedings six night a week is top Irish performer, Fergal Flaherty and guest cabaret is made up of other fine Irish entertainers.

As you can imagine, Saint Partick's Day is a big affair at this venue and, each year, you have to book to make sure you get in.
