Heritage Bar Los Cristianos - a family-run British bar

Run by Dave, along with his brother Neal, the bar is open from midday till 2am Monday-Saturday and 2pm till 2am Sunday. It doesn't appear to do food, but, be assured, drinks are available aplenty!

With a spacious interior and quite a large outside terrace, it is an ideal venue to enjoy an afternoon drink. Into the evenings, the entertainment begins and things get taken up a notch.

Regarding this entertainment, I know that the bar offers karaoke, quizzes and bingo nightly. Whether it provides live entertainment is another matter.

I know I've included it here, under Tenerife nightlife and this is because, at one time, it did feature live cabaret some nights.

Drag artiste Gavin Nicholas was once a regular, but, apparently, he has now left the island. Another website suggests that John Ashford, with his Buddy Holly and Eagles shows, appears once a week, but I don't know how up to date that information is.

The bar has an A-board on the roadside outside it detailing what's on, so you could always check it out if you're passing - or, why not pop in for a drink and ask them! You'll receive a warm welcome.

To find the bar, get yourself to the main traffic lights just up the hill from the centre of town. The San Marino complex is on the opposite side of the street from Lewinski's Bar and The Heritage is there.
