Harveys Bar Tenerife - good food plus entertainment

This is yet another bar in the thriving area of El Mirador, just up the hill behind Los Cristianos.

Opening all day, seven days a week, Harvey's starts by offering full English breakfasts, continuing through the day with quality food, all at very reasonable prices.

I understand that, in the past, the bar has had the policy of only employing top-class chefs and this has been reflected in the comments of customers on many different forums. Everyone, without fail, raves about the quality of the meals served.

I believe that, between 5pm and 7pm, there is the "early bird special", which offers an even cheaper meal deal.

Drinks prices are also very reasonable.

The bar also boasts big screen TVs, showing important Premier League matches and other sporting events.

Come the evening, the entertainment starts up, under the control of excellent compere, Bollie. The bar places a great emphasis on karaoke, but also features live cabaret too.

All in all, Harvey's Bar seems like an excellent place to visit, both by day and by night.

To find it, walk up the hill away from the sea from the mini roundabout near the Arona Gran Hotel. At the first big roundabout, there's a dual carriageway leading off to the right. Harvey's Bar is over on the other side of that.
