Harleys American Restaurant and Bar - a truly amazing experience

At the time, I was accompanied by a lady who had two young children (the background surrounding that situation is something we needn't go into here!) and the kids loved it.

Every effort is made to create a small oasis of the USA in Las Americas. The impressive exterior boasts two stories of large plate-glass windows and features the prominent Harleys neon sign. Parked outside is a Harley Davidson motorbike and several classic American cars.

Inside, the place is styled after an American diner (though much more luxurious than those that you may have seen in films). You are greeted at the door in true American style and then have a choice of area where you can sit. Such is the size of the place, options include the main area, a chill-out lounge, window tables and the second floor sports bar. You can even elect to sit in a vintage car for your meal!

Harleys American Restaurant specialises in traditional American food and "Tex-Mex", but also offers a full range of international cuisine. As well as its famous burgers and ribs, you could even order something like bangers and mash, if that took your fancy!

When it comes to drinks, Harleys offers anything you can think of, but especially cocktails. A great feature of this restaurant is its employment of award-winning bartenders. Called "flair championships", these are contests across Europe to find the best juggling bartender (just like Tom Cruise in "Cocktail", only better) and you'll see them in action behind the bar.

If that wasn't enough, the restaurant hosts live bands on an almost nightly basis too.

Harleys also features a breakfast and daytime menu and the venue can be hired for parties and corporate events.

In the sports bar, there is a huge TV screen, showing all major sporting events.
