Hi Nicola,

There are some car hire companies that require both paper and plastic licences.

Whenever I've used a car hire company in Tenerife however, they've always been happy with just the plastic version.

I don't know how they'd react to just a paper licence as I've never tried it myself. I can't imagine it being a problem - but don't quote me.
