Dreamers Bar Los Cristianos - nightly live entertainment

The bar itself is open through the day for food and drinks.

By evening, it becomes an entertainment bar for all the family and, for some time now, has been the residency of an Irish duo (sometimes known as Celtic Confusion), consisting of Derek and Mark. They were, for many years, resident at the Irish Times.

These boys are highly recommended, performing live versions of all different types of music. Don't go there expecting out-and-out Irish music. They intersperse their music with a bit of clowning about and comedy.

Every Thursday, they have a guest saxophonist joining them on stage.

The bar, continuing its restaurant persona, do a special evening offer of two meals for 5.95 euros up to 9:30pm.

All in all, many reports of this bar praise the entertainment unreservedly. What with the meal deal and drinks being reasonably priced, why not give it a try?

You can find Dreamers by getting yourself to the Princesa Dacil Hotel. Directly opposite the dual carriageway is the entrance to a pedestrian walkway. Take this, carrying on straight down towards the sea. Eventually, you'll spot this bar amongst a complex of buildings on your left.
