Domus Aurea Tenerife - a five-star Italian restaurant

The Domus Aurea Italian restaurant, or to spell the name as it is over its entrance, "DOMVS AVREA", is hailed by customers as the best Italian restaurant they have ever eaten in.

It is modelled slightly on ancient Rome (hence the spelling of the name), with an entrance flanked by two Roman columns. Inside, amongst opulent decor, you'll see statues of Roman emperors dotted about.

Staff are multilingual, friendly and attentive and, on your arrival, will show you to your table, elegantly laid out with pristine white napkins and sparkling silverware.

As you peruse the menu, you'll be amazed at the range of choice available.

As well as the traditional Italian staples of pasta and pizza, you'll find a fine selection of meat and fish dishes. Vegetarians are amply cared for too.

The expert chef cooks with passion and takes pains to assure that his creations are a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.

Domus Aurea also offers an extensive wine list, with fine vintages from Italy, Spain and the Canaries.
