Chill Out Bar Tenerife - laid back live music

Primarily a Spanish restaurant, it has staff who are English speaking (pretty essential in a tourist location). Situated at the end of Los Cristianos nearer to Las Americas, it overlooks the beautiful Las Vistas beach, so, during your meal, you will be able to enjoy superb views.

With a plush decor and tranquil atmosphere, the restaurant lives up to its name. There is seating for 80 diners inside and room for 88 more on the spacious terrace.

There is an open kitchen where you can see your meal prepared and on offer is a comprehensive choice of classic Spanish/Canarian dishes. Every day, there is a special on offer. There's a children's menu, too!

As stated above, the restaurant provides quality live music every evening, in the shape of pianist Kenny G. Unfortunately, I've not been able to ascertain whether or not he sings as well, so perhaps someone who knows can enlighten me.

In any case, I suspect that he provides nice chill-out music, ideal for dinner conversation.

To find it, follow these directions:

From the church square in the centre of town, go up the road to the right-hand side of the church, then take a left onto the road passing behind the church.

Walk all the way along there, till you come to a large roundabout. Bear right here, then, by the side of the Slow Boat Chinese restaurant, take the steps down to the seafront promenade. The restaurant is along there.
