British Schools in Tenerife closed down!

Hi, this is John, your genial webmaster. I received some information, via my feedback page, from Maurita, who is the headmistress of Trinity School in Tenerife, no less.
She informed me of some changes to the status of some of the British schools in Tenerife. This information was certainly news to me and, I suspect, to a lot of other people, so I feel it's worthy of inclusion as a Tenerife News Story.

The English Educational Centre, on San Blas, Golf del Sur, is no longer operational.

The Britannia School, in the centre of Los Cristianos, is closing its doors at the end of this school year.

The Yeoward School, in Puerto de La Cruz, and the Trinity School, in nearby Los Realejos, are merging to form the British School of Tenerife.

Thanks, Maurita.
