Animal Farm Granja - featuring donkey trekking

The Animal Farm Granja is found in the San Eugenio area of Playa de las Americas and is, basically, a working farm open to the public, but featuring a donkey sanctuary - its main attraction.

As well as a farm, there is an operational banana plantation, too. But, perhaps more importantly for families who might be visiting with children, there is a play area featuring climbing frames and swings. That is, not to mention the animals on the farm that you are encouraged to interact with.

Most notable, of course, are the donkeys! The farm organises donkey treks around the area of either 30 minutes or one hour. As you can imagine, it is a very gentle trek and no previous experience is required. The farm issues riders with hard hats as safety is very much an issue.
