Amanda's Bar Torviscas - a long established family entertainment venue

amanda's bar torviscas

This large Spanish owned and Spanish run bar has been established for many many years and, as far as I know, is still going strong.

Despite its Spanish pedigree, it is aimed squarely at British holidaymakers. For such a high-profile bar in Torviscas, it is surprisingly under-represented on the Internet, not even having its own website.

So, here's as much information as possible.

The bar, as I understand it, it geared mainly to evening entertainment and, as such, may not be open during the day.

It is totally family-friendly, however, even featuring a bouncy castle on its terrace!

If, by any chance, the venue is open for business during the day, I'm still not sure if food is on offer. Perhaps, if someone reading this is a little more familiar with Amanda's, they could contact me, using "feedback", with more information.

I'm on slightly firmer ground when it comes to the evening entertainment, having managed one night performing there, as half of a duo, launching a Blues Brothers act (which never, in the long term, got off the ground).

The general advice is, get there early if you want a seat. Despite its large interior, the bar can get very busy.

There is an English resident compere (whose identity at this time is unknown by me) and he or she introduces one, sometimes two, top cabaret acts every night.

Waiting staff are generally English speaking Spanish or Canarian and provide table service.

A very popular evening venue, for all ages.
